The solar farm, which will cover almost 10 hectares, will be built on a former garbage dump. The plan for the solar park was developed in collaboration with the land owner, the municipality and various local parties such as Duursaam Etten-Leur and the MEC Etten-Leur Foundation.
The permit has already been granted, which means that Statkraft can start construction in February 2022. According to the schedule, the solar meadow will supply sustainable power to the grid in mid-2022.
